Flyaway Indoor Skydiving is the most well known Indoor Skydiving facility in the U.S.  With two locations open to the general public since 1983, Flyaway has offered millions the opportunity to achieve their dreams and experience human flight.

Q. Who can fly?
A. Almost everyone can fly. You should have the desire to fly and meet our height and weight standards. For safety and quality of flight reasons, you must weigh at least 40 lbs. and no more than 230 lbs. With regard to the height standards, we probably could not fit an 8 ft. tall person in one of our suits! You also need to be in good physical condition; no medical problems.
Q. How does it work?
A. After a short training class, you will be provided with all necessary equipment (suit, goggles, helmet, earplugs, gloves, etc). Your instructor will then escort you into the wind tunnel where a 120-mph column of air will be generated and will pick you up 6 to 12 feet. Your instructor provides hands-on guidance during your flight session.
Q. What should i wear?
A. Whatever you feel comfortable in, we recommend that you wear cool and loose clothing. Socks and soft-soled shoes are a must. No sandals or open-toed shoes. We do provide shoes if necessary.
Q. Why are there weight restrictions?
A.

Flyaway set limits on height & weight in order to achieve the best possible experience for our customers. While we try to cater to all body types, air speed and equipment ultimately decides who can fly.

Q. Is it like skydiving?
A. Yes, the skills you need to fly the tunnel are the skills you need to skydive. Skydivers sometimes find the tunnel difficult because it's a slightly different environment than what they're used to. Our larger suits and comparatively small area to work in really taxes the skills of some skydivers. Remember, a skydiver is used to wide open spaces to work with.  Here they have a little more than 13 feet.
