15 Minute Block (Up To 5 People)

Learn To Fly In Pigeon Forge, TN!

The Block Party experience allows you to buy out the entire 15-minute block of time to divide among your group. The classroom training and gear up process are the same, but when you enter the tunnel it’s just you and your friends (up to 5). For a smaller group, this gives you an exclusive experience with more time to share amongst yourselves. For the group of five, this option is cheaper than buying five individual flights.

Classes start every 30 minutes, on the hour and half hour. You can make reservations online or we accept walk in’s. The process will take about an hour from the start of class until you leave the tunnel to take your gear off. Generally, it is better to fly earlier in the day if possible. Flyers should be in good physical condition especially no prior neck, back or shoulder injuries. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 21 years old during the training class. Small children must weigh 40 pounds and be mature enough to follow the instructor’s directions. Please refer to the menu below for the maximum weight guidelines.

What Should I Wear?

Socks and soft-soled lace-up shoes are a must. No sandals or open-toed shoes are allowed. We do provide shoes if necessary. What you shouldn’t wear is more important. Before you fly, all pockets must be empty and all jewelry must be removed. Rings that are too tight to be removed are OK small stud earrings are OK.

Can I Watch?

YES! We have an observation deck. Anyone can come in and watch for FREE! We encourage you to spend some time watching a flight session. Watching others fly is a great way to pick up a few tips before you fly.

Can I Do Tricks?

Yes, with experience you can learn tricks. Flying is an athletic activity that takes time and practice to master. Learning new skills makes it fun and keeps you coming back for more. During your first flight, your instructor will help you with basic stability and maybe some turns or altitude control.”
